Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account you agree to these Terms and confirm you have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SynKrew.

2. Who can use SynKrew

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You may not use SynKrew if you have been banned from it or if the law prevents you from using it.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

4. How SynKrew works

Members join pacts. Each pact sets a list of tasks, and each member chooses which of those tasks they commit to and on which days. Members submit photo proof of their tasks, and other members of the pact vote on whether each proof is valid. Coins, streaks, badges and league standings reflect how members do.

5. Coins have no money value

Coins are points used only inside SynKrew.

• Coins cannot be bought with money.
• Coins cannot be sold, transferred outside the app, or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes of any kind.
• Coins cannot be withdrawn or cashed out.

Words like "stake", "forfeit" and "win share" describe how points move between members of a pact. No real money is ever at stake. Coins are not your property. We may correct balances caused by errors or abuse, and balances end when an account is deleted.

6. Peer verification

Whether a proof is accepted is decided by other members of your pact, not by us. We do not check whether tasks were actually completed, and we are not responsible for how members vote. You can report abuse to us at team@synkrew.com.

7. Your content

You own the photos, names and text you add to SynKrew. You give us permission to store them, show them to the members they are meant for, and process them to run the service. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for anonymised records other members rely on, described in our Privacy Policy.

Only add content you have the right to share.

8. Rules for using SynKrew

You must not:

• submit false or misleading proof, or someone else's proof as your own;
• photograph other people without their permission;
• add content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or illegal;
• share another member's proof photos or location outside the app;
• pretend to be someone else;
• harass, threaten or bully other members;
• try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service;
• use bots, scripts or fake accounts;
• use SynKrew for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Your health and safety

SynKrew is not medical, fitness or professional advice. You choose your own tasks and are responsible for doing them safely. Never put yourself or others at risk to complete a task or take a proof photo, for example while driving.

10. Paid features

There are no paid features today. If we introduce any, they will be sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the price will be shown before you buy, and our Refund Policy will apply.

11. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features. We will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you. We cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors.

12. Suspending or ending accounts

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, SynKrew is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the loss of coins (which have no money value), or for the actions of other members. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at team@synkrew.com so we can try to resolve any issue. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of Bengaluru have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have to bring a claim where you live.

16. Changes to these terms

If we make a significant change, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date this version took effect is shown at the top.
